Our Take on Internet Safety
Cyber Safety Consulting educates students, parents and educators on the dangers in our digital and connected world. We are experts at teaching Internet safety to K-12 schools, businesses and religious groups through Internet safety presentations and our Internet safety curriculum. We understand how to relate to students about Internet safety to make sure our message gets through. Our instructors teach the basics of monitoring children’s device usage, show the latest apps that students are using, and how to monitor Internet usage at home.
We offer Internet safety presentations and personal consulting on cyber safety topics to parents who are overwhelmed by the amount and breadth of technology and social networks that our children are using. In addition, schools nationwide use our Internet safety curriculum and lesson plans to educate their K-12 students. Please contact us for more information on how we can help you with your particular needs.

Testimonials
School Administrators, principals, youth leaders, religious leaders, teachers, parents, and students have great things to say about Cyber Safety Consulting.
We have used Cyber Safety Consulting for both parent and student presentations. It is very impressive that the presentations are so group/age specific and detailed. In addition, our school has a 1:1 tablet program for the 6th-8th grade students. I have used CSC to test the safety and filtering of our tablets. CSC returned with suggestions to lock things down even more. We will certainly continue our relationship with Cyber Safety Consulting and look forward to working with them in the future. Thanks so much!
There is so much out there that needs to be addressed in helping to develop our students to be faithful and prudent online users. Cyber Safety Consulting’s Internet safety programs have been an excellent resource for the communities of the Joliet Diocese and the Diocese of Venice, educating our students, parents, and religious educators over the past few years. We’ve seen great success using their curriculum in both our schools and RE program. Cyber Safety Consulting’s programs have helped our students become better digital citizens and approach online usage through a moral perspective which provides lasting life skills.
What I took away from the presentation, and what I hope most of the attending parents took away as well, is that there is no silver bullet in regard to the issue of cyber safety. There is no master website we can employ to keep our children safe in the cyber world. It will take knowledge, commitment and real work to stay involved with, and to stay ahead of, the constantly developing technology that our children are exposed to and use daily. It will take real effort on our part as parents. Thank you Cyber Safety Consulting!
“Thank you for a great opportunity for our parent community. The feedback from parents has been glowingly positive! Thanks again for all you do!”
Liz presented to the 4th and 5th graders and also at a parent seminar at our school. She used relatable stories and solid facts to bring to light the dangers children face on the Internet and specifically through using social media. She gave easy, practical solutions to help parents recognize these risks and safeguard their families.
“Thank you, Allison, for two great cyber safety parent sessions this week! I have received loads of positive feedback from our employees, as your trainings were well delivered and full of helpful information!”
Thank you so much for sharing your gifts and helping us to keep our kids safe! I learned so much and look forward to reading your blog. I have some work to do here at home to make sure our technology is as safe as possible. Good stuff! I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge so we can keep these sweet kiddos of ours as safe as possible.
“You adapted your talk so beautifully for the needs of fourth and fifth graders. You sensed what they needed to hear and delivered your messages to address those issues personally as well as professionally. My biggest take away was that parents need to know more, and really look at the whole picture, of what young children should be doing with their free time. Sharing your own children’s experiences was very relevant and poignant.”
We are so pleased with Cyber Safety Consulting. Their common sense approach to our 6th grade students resonates with young teens, and gets them to truly self-reflect about their own actions and the implications of social media in their lives. The lessons and discussions do not scare kids, or lecture them. It educates them and opens their minds and their eyes, with humor and real life stories from personal experiences. Cyber Safety Consulting is making a positive difference in the choices kids make, and as a teacher and parent myself, what more can one want?
“Our school had Cyber Safety Consulting come on campus to present to students in 3-8th grade and their parents. The feedback has been very positive from both parents and students. Collectively for parents, we heard that no one felt judged because of their choices, but are now more equipped to parent in regards to technology in the home, For any school, church or community organization looking to equip both parents and students on these important topics, I’d highly recommend Liz and the CSC Team.”
“Thank you for a wonderful presentation! I was very happy to see how engaged the students were and how you drew them into stories that were relevant to them. My biggest take away was that these children are getting machines (phones/Internet etc.) that they are not ready for – it is like they have been given keys to a sports car but should be learning how to ride a bike.”
“I want to thank you for speaking with our group at the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. You truly provided an incredibly relevant topic/presentation for our NCL Carmel Chapter. You’re definitely a highlight of our year, and I’m so grateful! Thank you again!”
“I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you how impressed I am with CSC. They have the goal of educating & bringing awareness to these important topics, and to get this vital information to as many parents as possible. Allison did a phenomenal job yesterday – She was so warm and caring, yet so informative and helpful for parents. A big personal THANK YOU to Cyber Safety Consulting!”
